► Ready to work on the first day With many years of experience as an independent attorney, as well as three years experience as research law clerk to Chief Judge of the Ingham Circuit Court Peter Houk,I have a strong working knowledge of the complexities of the Ingham County Circuit Court. Having worked both in the court and as a defense attorney I also have strong values on criminal justice.  The public interest must be protected against criminal activity using all the points outlined above.

► I'd like to tell you a little bit more about myself and why I'm running for Judge this November. During my years as an attorney in Ingham County, I've come to understand the system very well. I believe that attorneys and judges are peacemakers. They create environments where highly emotional issues are resolved respectfully and peacefully. This tradition has helped to make our nation prosperous and secure. We have excellent professionals, as well as strong and caring families in our community. A judge's job is to foster cooperation between them. I believe the courtroom should be an environment of cooperation between judges, attorneys, and families in order to resolve issues and grant everyone involved the respect they deserve. Greg Crockett
